After consultation with all interested parties, the plan from the Town Clerk's Office, dated 15th February 1996, headed HAMPDEN TERRACE REDEVELOPMENT, Project No 1: PS SUI 138 is a Restoration which is both economical and buildable
In common with other buildings of Architectural Interest throughout the City, the crowing glory to the foregoing is envisaged with upward floodlighting from The Embankment.
Through carrying out the reconstruction of The Embankment and the refurbishment of The Terrace a focal point will encourage other groups in the community to follow this example.
By engendering civic interest and pride a general rejuvenation of Mount Florida's Victorian architectural heritage will enhance what is now the gateway to The National Stadium, Hampden Park in Mount Florida.
